Pay OnlineLog into My Ross Med to pay your bill online using an electronic check (ACH) or credit card. To make a payment through the community portal, select Account Overview on the left side menu, then select Make a Payment and follow the prompts.
Wire TransferFor international students, Ross Med has partnered with PayMyTuition by MTFX for a convenient way to transfer funds. Follow the step-by-step instructions to make your payment by transfer or credit card before the transfer date.

There are several payment methods available. You can pay your Ross Med bill by electronic check (ACH), credit card, wire transfer, or mail.
To maintain financial aid eligibility, you will be expected to make satisfactory academic progress (SAP) and remain in good standing within the university. Please see the Ross Med Student Handbook for more information.
If you withdraw from or fail all classes in any semester, you may be required to return any Title IV funds you received. Please see the Ross Med Student Handbook for more information.
Ross Med requires all students to have health insurance coverage while enrolled at the university. The Office of Student Finance administers a health insurance plan that is available to students, their legal spouses, and their dependents.
You will be automatically enrolled in the university-sponsored insurance plan unless you submit a valid insurance waiver to Aetna during the active waiver period as waivers cannot be accepted outside of the period. You can verify your enrollment by logging into myRoss. Registered students continue to be charged for insurance until they graduate or permanently withdraw from Ross Med.
By creating an Aetna Navigator account, you can easily access your personal information, print and request ID cards, and review your claims. You can also enroll in voluntary term life insurance and dental discount programs for an additional fee.

Coverage dates for the university-sponsored plan can change from year to year, so please contact our office for current coverage dates. The coverage year is broken into three trimesters for billing purposes.
If health insurance is reinstated or new enrollment is added during the semester the associated charges will be billed to your student account. Please allow up to seven days for processing.
The insurance rate for the 2024-2025 plan year is $1,502 per semester. This rate includes an administration fee.
You will be billed approximately five weeks before the start of the coverage date. Insurance charges appear on your account as a separate item titled “Health Insurance.” You can obtain an account summary by logging into your myRoss account.
Please note that it is your responsibility as a student to ensure your insurance enrollment or waiver information is current.
If you have your own insurance coverage or are covered by a parent or spouse’s insurance plan, you may waive your participation in the university-sponsored plan.
All students must waive coverage during the open waiver period. Waivers received after the open waiver period cannot be accepted, and you will be billed for insurance for the remainder of the academic year (August to August).

Once a waiver is applied to your account, it remains in effect until the following August or until you request to be reinstated in the university-sponsored insurance plan.

I previously waived university-sponsored insurance but would now like to enroll. How do I reinstate my coverage?
Students who have previously waived the university-sponsored insurance can reinstate coverage by submitting an electronic reinstatement form available in myRoss. You must submit your reinstatement request in a timely manner to avoid any gaps or lapses in insurance coverage.
Can I submit a waiver to Aetna outside of the open waiver period?No. Students must submit their waiver to Aetna during the open waiver period.
Can I add a spouse or dependent to the university-sponsored health plan?At the beginning of each coverage period, you may elect additional coverage for your legal spouse and/or dependent(s) at your own cost. For this additional coverage, you must fill out the online Enrollment Form available from Aetna Student Health. All premiums for spouse or dependent coverage must be paid directly to Aetna Student Health. CAAM-HP is the legally constituted body established in 2003 under the aegis of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), empowered to determine and prescribe standards and to accredit programs of medical, dental, veterinary and other health professions education on behalf of the contracting parties in CARICOM.
Accreditation by CAAM-HP is a rigorous, peer review process which examines all aspects of a medical program. The CAAM-HP board, an independent and autonomous body of professionals, only certifies medical schools which are operating at the highest levels of industry standards.
Through this accreditation, the CAAM-HP provides assurance to medical students, graduates, the medical profession, healthcare institutions, and the public that programs leading to qualifications in medicine meet appropriate national and international standards for educational quality, and that the graduates have a sufficiently complete and valid educational experience.
